Washing your hands properly helps keep food safe to eat for yourself and family, saves time, water, energy and helps prevent the spread of disease. Absences due to illness are also reduced.

In the workplace, High Speed Hand Washing is an excellent method to assure properly cleaned hands for beginning a shift or after breaks. Posters are in English, Spanish and bilingual, color or grayscale. Training guides are in English or Spanish.

In school programs, students practice good food safety habits with proper hand washing before lunch or snacks. Posters, training videos, lesson plans and tips, and supplemental activities are available in English and some in Spanish.

The Basic Lesson Plan for the High Speed Hand Washing method can be adapted for a wide variety of settings and audiences. Storybooks are used to help engage younger children for literature-based learning. Skits and games engage youth through adult groups with age-related food safety messages.

High Speed Hand Washing activities provide academic benchmark opportunities that help students achieve important goals.
