The 2025 MATE Oregon Regional ROV Competition main event will be held on Saturday, May 10th at the Newport Recreation Center in Newport, Oregon. In this competition, teams of students in grades 4-12 design and build an underwater robot and use it to complete timed missions in the pool. The teams also create a poster and are interviewed by engineering judges.
Whether you have volunteered in the past or if this is your first MATE ROV experience, we welcome your help and talents!
Many volunteers are needed to help pull off the event on May 10. There are also volunteer opportunities to help with prop-building in April, as well as remote scoring of competition elements that will occur during May 2 - 8. Please use this form to let us know your interests and availability to volunteer. We will contact you based on the information you provide.
Prospective volunteers are invited to this year's 1 hour
