The 2023 Engineering Expo will take place June 9 at Kelley Engineering Center on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis. All Oregon high school and middle school teachers are invited to bring classes of students to visit the Expo. Visit slot starting times run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visiting the Expo with your class is a flexible experience. The length of your visit is up to you, as the Expo is free and open to explore in whatever way works best for your class.  A preview of all Expo projects, and guidance for planning your class visit, will be provided to all teachers who register their class for an Expo visit.

There are two options for your class to experience the Expo:

  • In-person visits: Register your class for a visit via the button on this page (deadline is May 8). Available on a first-come, first-served basis until full.
  • Online experience:  The 2023 Engineering Virtual Expo will open at 8 a.m. on June 5. It will feature virtual project display pages created by the student teams showcasing their projects at this year’s in-person Expo. Virtual display pages will feature project descriptions, videos, digital posters, and more. Visitors will have the ability to contact project teams via email to ask them questions about their project. The Virtual Expo site will remain open until the end of the year.

Note: Due to the size of the Expo event, all staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring a great experience for your students. Tours of other engineering facilities will not be available on June 9. Information regarding self-guided campus tours will be provided to all teachers who register their class for an Expo visit.

Funding is available to help support travel costs for qualifying schools. Teachers can request support via the registration form.
